"The bottom line is that exercise is medicine-medicine you can take to live a longer and healthier life." Dr Fabrizio Mancini
If you could take one pill every day that was guaranteed to enable you to live a longer and healthier life than you could without the pill, would you take it? Of course you would. The great news is that a prescription exists, but it is not in a pill, and it doesn't cost anything except your time. The evidence is absolutely irrefutable that a minimum of 30 minutes of active exercise, or an hour of moderate exercise every day will improve your emotional, cognitive and physical condition. You know this, don't you? The only question is whether you are committed to that prescription. Unfortunately, our current society is faced with a new epidemic; "Sedentary Death Syndrome" which reflects the sad fact that many of us don't get any exercise, due to the everyday conveniences that have enabled us to live with little physical effort, thus our health is poor, and our longevity is shortened. Don't allow yourself to fall victim to this epidemic, don't take your health for granted, commit to exercise every day and you won't regret it.
